Master Grade gunpla of an MS-09R Rick Dom, i.e. a Dom variant - suited for combat in space instead of on planets surface - featured in the very first Mobile Suit Gundam TV series!
It's a marvelous 1/100 scale snap-fit model kit requiring assembly, but there's no need for glue and all parts are molded in color.
This is the 2022 version of this model, definitely updated compared to the previous one released in 1999:
- the new inner frame allows for a wider and more refined range of movements;
- there are new molds for the armor that improve its aesthetics and also enhance its mobility;
- hands are pre-assembled (the so-called Emotion Manipulator SPs, with articulated fingers which you just need to turn and bend into the right position);
- it comes also with water decals.
Other features:
- Heat Saber;
- H&L-GB05R/360mm Giant Bazooka;
- Ex-T2-2 Beam Bazooka;
- 2x unpainted 1/100 scale figurines of the pilot (standing and sitting inside the cockpit).
- stickers.
Once assembled, it stands about 18cm tall and is fully detailed!
Tha Action Base 4 display stand, showing in some pictures, is sold separately.
It's recommended to use a side cutter to properly detach the components from the runners.
All parts fit together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are molded in separate colors, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
However, you can paint it employing proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans).
