1/100 scale gunpla of the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos 6th Form featured in Mobile Suit Gundam - Iron-Blooded Orphans TV show (season 1).
This is a snap-fit model kit. It requires assembly, but there's no need for glue and parts are molded in color.
When built, it's articulated and very well detailed.
Despite not being a Master Grade model, it sports a real full inner frame!
It comes with
- classic Mace with extensible spike rod;
- Large Special Mace, aka Wrench Mace, with openable front "claw" featuring a chainsaw;
- reinforced chest armor;
- Tail Boosters;
- interchangeable hands;
- interchangeable arm weapons (170mm Autocannons and Arm Mortars);
- optional interchangeable parts to get Gundam Barbatos 5th Form Ground Type and standard Gundam Barbatos 5th Form (for the latter you'll also need the the hip thrusters from McGillis's Schwalbe Graze 1/100, sold separately);
- stickers.
The optional Action Base 1 stand, which you can see in the pictures, is sold separately.
It's recommended to use hobby nippers to properly detach the components from the runners.
All parts snap together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" plastic models, even for beginners.
You can paint it using proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans), but it's not mandatory, since all pieces come already molded in color.
