Professional cutting mat with a peculiar elongated shape (145x450mm) corresponding approximately to an A3 sheet folded in half lengthwise.
That shape is definitely suitable for working in tight spaces or on desks partially "taken" by other items (e.g. PC, keyboard, etc.).
This Cutting Mat α is made of a nice half-clear and virtually odorless blue resin, and consists of 3 layers: the innermost layer is the sturdiest, while the outer ones are "softer": the latter are extremely resistant to cuts, and - at the same time - they don't damage the blades of cutters and modeling scalpels, extending their lifespan.
It's perfect for cutting pla-plates, masking tapes, decals, paper, etc.
The surface is rich in helpful marks: in addition to the usual grid, rulers, circles, curves and angles, it also features 3 convenient scale conversion rulers (1/24, 1/35 and 1/48) and special guides for easy cutting thin strips (1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm wide).
