Compared to classic Gundam, the differences that first catch the eye are those relating to the many arms.
This mobile suit is equipped with a large cannon on his left shoulder, a concealed gatling gun and a rocket launcher on the upper trunk, forearms machine guns, two different beam rifles, a couple of Beam Sabers, a Hyper Bazooka and a shield!
Other special features are retractable thrusters inside the calves.
This kit also comes with two unpainted Amuro Ray's figurines (in standing and a sitting position) and effect parts for gatling gun, rocket launcher and forearms machine guns.
All components are pre-colored. If you decide to paint them, we recommend to use acrylic paints or Gundam Markers.
As for attention to detail, proportions and joint quality, this model is outstanding, on a par with MG Gundam Ver. 3.0!
Just like that version, the upper torso of this model also accommodates a LED unit (sold separately) to light its eyes from the inside!
Which version to choose? The quality is exactly the same level, so it all depends on your tastes. If you love the classic series Gundam, then you can not beat the 3.0 version. If you like alternative mobile suits interpretations and additional accessories, then this "The Origin" version is the one for you.
And if you are real fans, you must not miss neither of the two!
