Real Grade model kit of the legendary Char Aznable's Red Zaku II, taken from first Gundam animated series!
It's a snap-fit kit and all parts are already colored: it requires no glue, nor paint, unless you like to further embellish or customize it.
This 1/144 MS-06S Zaku II is really magnificent, both for the wealth of detail and for for the high poseability: torso, arms and legs are in fact well-articulated, despite the massive armor that characterizes generally all Zaku mobile suits.
The inner frame (Advanced MS Joint 2 type) has been further improved compared to that, already impressive, of RX-78-2 Gundam! The overall quality of this Gunpla matches that of the much larger Master Grade category Char's Zaku II Ver. 2.0: different size but same attention to detail and functionality.
The kit includes:
- a Heat Hawk;
- a 240mm Zaku Bazooka;
- a 120mm Zaku Machine Gun;
- a non-painted figurine of Char Aznable;
- a sticker sheet.
An adapter to position the model on an Action Base 2 is also provided (Action Base 2 produced by Bandai, too, but sold separately).
The instructions are in Japanese, but just follow the detailed manual illustrations to proceed with the assembly without difficulty.
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to detach the parts from the runners.
And a pair of tweezers comes in handy to apply the provided stickers, too.
All components are molded in the right colors. If you'd like to paint them as well as Char's figurine to give them an even more realistic look, it's advisable to use acrylic paints or Gundam Markers.
