2/5 scale replica of the first Sony Playstation (SCPH-1000 series, which debuted on December 3, 1994).
This is a snap-fit model kit released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the PSX!
It requires assembly, but there's no need for glue and all pieces are already molded in color.
It faithfully reproduces the original console, even its internal circuitry. The reader hatch is openable and you can insert the included dummy CD inside!

The 2/5 scale equals 1/2.5.
Please note: this is just a model, not a working game console.
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to properly detach the components from the runners.
All parts fit together without need for glue (same as gunpla models) making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are accurately molded in separate colors, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
However, you can paint it employing proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans).
