The full name of the kit is "Evangelion Unit-01 DX Transport Platform Set - Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapon, Artificial Human".
Unit-01 faithfully reproduces the appearance of its counterpart from Rebuild of Evangelion anime series!
It requires assembly just as a gunpla model, i.e. there's no need for glue and all parts are admirably molded in separate colors!
The finished model stands approx. 17.5cm tall (not counting the platform), and is finely detailed and excellently articulated: its many joints allow for wide movements and dynamic poses.
In addition to the EVA-01, this set comes with
- highly detailed transport platform;
- optional flexible Umbilical Cable to connect the EVA to the platform;
- Entry Plug;
- Pallet Rifle;
- 14x different interchangeable hands;
- 2x Progressive Knives (open);
- 2x Progressive Knives (half closed, to emulate the extraction of the weapons from the shoulders);
- A.T. Field;
- stickers.
It's recommended to use hobby nippers to properly detach the components from the sprues.
All parts snap together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "traditional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are molded in separate colors, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
But, of course, you can also paint it using proper colors (not included) and your favorite techniques: Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans.
