Master Grade gunpla of the ASW-G-XX Gundam Vidar, from Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans anime series.
It's a 1/100 scale snap-fit model kit requiring easy assembly. Glue is not needed and all pieces are molded in color.
Once built, it stands about 18cm tall and is finely detailed and articulated.
Further features:
- highly posable inner frame with several moving "pneumatic cylinders" (featuring chrome plated parts);
- Burst Saber;
- "scabbards" on each side, to store spare blades for the Burst Saber (each scabbard has a sliding gimmick and carries 3 blades);
- 2x extra blades, to emulate situations where the Gundam Vidar deliberately detaches them from the hilt, e.g. to let them explode inside an opposing mobile suit;
- rifle with detachable magazine;
- 2x guns with slides moving along the frame;
- foldable Hunter's Edge blades on each feet;
- interchangeable hand parts;
- 2x non-painted figurines of pilot Gaelio Bauduin (standing and sitting inside the cockpit);
- stickers.
The Action Base display stand, showing in some pictures, is sold separately.
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to properly detach the components from their plastic runners.
All parts fit together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
You can paint it using proper products and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans), but it's not mandatory, since all pieces are already molded in separate colors.
