Impressive master grade gunpla of the MBF-P03R Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise, based on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED VS Astray graphic novel!
This is a 1/100 scale snap-fit model kit: it requires assembly, but there's no need for glue. Parts are separated into different colored plastic sprues.
Features:
- beautifully articulated inner frame, to make it assume dynamic and martial poses;
- convertible Tactical Arms II weapon;
- 2x Armor Schneider combat knives, which are carried on the hips when not in use;
- retractable blades in the feet;
- 2x non-painted figurines of the pilot Gai Murakumo, standing and sitting inside the cockpit;
- blue Action Base 2 stand, to support the Tactical Arms II in some positions;
- dry transfer decals;
- stickers.
The Tactical Arms II can change form depending on the needs on the battlefield:
- Sword Form - a huge and distinctive broadsword;
- Sword Arm - 2 separate blades attached to each arm of the Gundam;
- Gatling Form - a 4-barreled machine gun, with a bipod support;
- Gatling Arm - in this case the machine gun is employed without the bipod;
- Flight Form - a winged backpack that allows the Gundam to fly.
This model is compatible with Action Base 1 and Action Base 4 display stands, both sold separately.
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to properly detach the pieces from their plastic grids.
There's no need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models.
Components are molded in the right colors. If you like to paint them in order to make your model even more beautiful, or to customize it, it's advisable to use acrylic paints or Gundam Markers.
