Gunpla of the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex (SD Gundam Cross Silhouette version), from Mobile Suit Gundam - Iron-Blooded Orphans television series - season 2.
This is an unmissable snap-fit model kit requiring simple assembly: glue is not needed and all parts are molded in color.
It's quick and fun to build!
Here at Gunpla-Italia, we think it's one of the best gunpla models in this line!
It comes with 2 different inner frames to choose from:
- SD - for a stockier and more playful look;
- CS - for a taller, more slender and more martial look (it's also better articulated!).
Further features:
- Tail Blade with flexible wire;
- "hidden" auxiliary sub-arms inside the main forearms;
- Ultra Large Mace (you can also hang it to the back of the Gundam) with extendable handle;
- 2x different pairs of interchangeable hands (open and closed);
- stickers, with 4 different eye types.
This model can also make use of armor pieces and accessories of other super deformed gunpla models (sold separately): both those of the new SDCS line and those of the BB Senshi line.
The same goes for additional inner frame replacement parts, sold separately in various sizes.
It's compatible with HGBC Diver Gear display stand, sold separately, which you can see in a picture.
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to properly detach the components from the runners.
All parts snap together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are molded in separate colors, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
You can however paint it using proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans).
