This gunpla set is part of the SD Gundam Cross Silhouette line (SDCS) and includes the RX-78-2 Gundam and Char's MS-06S Zaku II, molded in a special color version (inspired by Gundam The Origin series) to celebrate the 40th gunpla anniversary!
They are 2 snap-fit model kits requiring simple assembly: there's no need for glue.
RX-78-2 Gundam features:
- Beam Saber;
- Beam Rifle;
- shield;
- stickers.
Char's Zaku II features:
- Zaku Machine Gun;
- Zaku Bazooka;
- Heat Hawk;
- 2x triple missile pods;
- stickers.
Both gunplas come with CS frames, tall and well articulated (optional SD frames, on the contrary, are not included).
These models can also make use of armor parts and accessories of other super deformed gunpla models sold separately: both those of the SDCS line and those of the BB Senshi line.
These model kits are compatible with optional parts (sold separately) in the SD Gundam Cross Silhouette lineup that allow you to alter the length and proportions of their limbs as well as to customize various details.
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to properly detach the parts from their plastic runners.
All parts fit together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are molded in separate colors, so both models looks great even after a plain straight build.
However, you can paint them employing proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans).
