This Best Mecha Collection RX-78-2 Gundam (Revival Ver.) is a snap-fit 1/144 scale model requiring assembly. It openly pays homage to the very first gunpla released way back in 1980: it comes with the same design and proportions!
Unlike its "ancestor", however, it has more modern features that undoubtedly make it easier to build:
- no tools are needed (parts can be detached from their frames by hand);
- no glue is needed (parts fit together like those of today's gunpla models);
- no paint is needed (parts are molded in color);
- there is no need to attach stickers.
Like the one it's inspired by, this model is partially articulated and includes a Beam Rifle, a shield and a Beam Saber (white).

All parts fit together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
Components are separated into different colored sprues, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
However, you can paint it employing proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans).
