This is an exclusive 1/60 scale Premium Bandai (P-Bandai) limited edition gunpla model kit.
It's a highly detailed representation of the mobile suit MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame, version Kai, as seen in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam SEED VS Astray.
Please Note:
You could find on the Internet references to this gunpla with the name Astray Red Frame "Revise" instead of "Kai", but it's a simple matter of translation: it's the same product!
The model features new thighs armor, a new backpack design and the module "Tactical Arms IIL", which can transform in many ways:
- V Form - module basic form, when it's placed on the back of the mobile suit, ready to turn into other forms;
- Delta Form - always placed on the back, to take advantage of the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system;
- Flight Form - a jet pack that allows the Gundam Astray Red Frame to fly;
- Sword Form - a giant broadsword;
- Work Form - a huge claw;
- Arrow Form - a powerful bow.
From Tactical Arms IIL can also be detached the Beam Torch, a tool that can be used as a gun.
Furthermore, this gunpla comes with
- 2x large metal coated katanas (Gerbera Straight and Tiger Pierce) with scabbards;
- an Action Base display stand, to support the Tactical Arms IIL;
- a fine water decals sheet;
- a LED unit to light the model eyes from within (working with a CR1220 battery, sold separately);
- 2x non-painted figurines of pilot Lowe Guele (one standing and one sitting).
It's advisable to use a pair of hobby nippers to properly detach the parts from the runners.
This is a snap-fit model kit, so glue is not required for the assembly, but a Phillips screwdriver (not included) is needed to tighten some screws. Do not over-tighten them, to avoid damaging the plastic components.
A pair of tweezers will come in handy to apply the decals.
