Perfect Grade Unleashed model kit of the RX-78-2 Gundam, based on the first Mobile Suit Gundam series!
This is an amazing 1/60 scale snap-fit model requiring assembly. There's no need for glue and all parts are molded in color.
Features:
- fully articulated inner frame, with some pre-assembled parts similarly to the Advanced MS Joint frames of Real Grade models;
- many metallic and chrome coated pieces;
- some metal components;
- a Core Block and a fully convertible Core Fighter (you can freely choose which one to insert inside the Gundam body);
- Beam Rifle with moving parts;
- 2x Beam Sabers;
- shield;
- neodymium magnet to connect the shield to the arm;
- variable color double RGB LED unit to light up head and chest (it requires 2 LR41 batteries, sold separately);
- LED unit to light up a Beam Saber or both rear thrusters (it comes with a BR435 test battery, needed to operate it);
- 8x interchangeable hands;
- unpainted figurines of Sayla Mass (standing) and Amuro Ray (standing and sitting inside the Core Block, plus a bust for the Core Fighter);

This is the first Perfect Grade Unleashed (PGU) model kit developed by Bandai, introduced on the 40th gunpla anniversary!
It's currently the best gunpla model in the world: the top that any fan of this hobby can aim to!
It sports the highest perfection level and the most advanced gunpla technologies: it's a high end model consisting of a large amount of parts.
Once assembled, it stands approximately 30cm tall, is extremely detailed and features parts with different color finishes. It also features the absolute record of articulation points (more than 90!) and opening hatches on its armor: never so many in any previously made gunpla!
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to properly detach the components from the runners.
All parts fit together without need for glue, making the building process more enjoyable, easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are finely colored, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
However, you can paint it employing proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans).
