2/5 scale model of the Saturn (HST-3200 series, i.e. first version of this Sega game console, from 1994) released to celebrate its 25th anniversary!
This is a snap-fit model kit requiring assembly. There's no need for glue and all parts are already molded in color.
It faithfully reproduces the original console, even its internal circuitry. The reader hatch is openable and you can insert the included CD replica inside!
It features also a joypad, with its flexible connection cable, and several stickers to add more details. Among the latter you can choose between 3 game covers to decorate the disc: there are Virtua Fighter, Nights and Sakura Wars 2!
The 2/5 scale equals 1/2.5.
Of course, this is just a model, not a working Saturn!
It's recommended to use side cutters to properly detach the components from the runners.
All parts snap together without need for glue (same as gunpla models) making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are accurately molded in separate colors, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
However, you can paint it employing proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans).
