Here is the first Real Grade model kit from the Evangelion franchise!
It's the EVA-01 Unit, sporting the same features appreciated in the Rebuild of Evangelion anime movies!
The kit full name is "Evangelion Unit-01 - Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapon, Artificial Human".
Just like gunpla models, it requires assembly, but there's no need for glue and all parts are admirably molded in separate colors!
The finished model stands approx. 17.5cm tall, is rich in details and comes with many joints that allow it to assume a wide range of natural poses similarly to the human body!
Other features:
- Entry Plug;
- optional flexible Umbilical Cable;
- Pallet Rifle;
- 12x different interchangeable hands;
- 2x Progressive Knives (open);
- 2x Progressive Knives (half closed, to emulate the extraction of the weapons from the shoulders);
- stickers.
Same model is also available in deluxe edition, including the transport platform and other bonus parts.
It's recommended to use hobby nippers to properly detach the components from the sprues.
All parts snap together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "traditional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are molded in separate colors, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
But, of course, you can also paint it using proper colors (not included) and your favorite techniques: Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans.
