Faithful 1/32 scale replica of the fossil skeleton of a tyrannosaurus rex!
This is an extremely detailed snap-fit model kit requiring assembly, but there's no need for glue and parts are already molded in color (it's just the same as a gunpla model!).
Its design is based on archaeological finds and studies.
That's a plastic model of great educational value, as well as a must have for any dinosaur enthusiast!
Once assembled, it's static (i.e. not articulated) and is 35cm long!
It comes with a themed base (with traces of vegetation typical of the Cretaceous period) and a transparent stand to support the skeleton in the act of leaping on a hypothetical prey!
In addition to the plastic parts and the instruction manual, this kit also features a booklet written under the supervision of dinosaur expert Kyoichi Tomita, which provides various interesting info and insights in both Japanese and English.
Recommended for ages 15 and up
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to properly detach the components from the runners.
All parts fit together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are molded in color, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
However, you can paint it employing proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans).
The instruction manual (bilingual, Japanese and English) draws attention to some details and trivia of the anatomy of the huge reptile and also provides some weathering tips.
