Master grade 2.0 version of Gundam, released on the 30th anniversary of its animated series.
This is a 1/100 scale gunpla: a snap-fit model kit requiring assembly.
Glue is not needed and all parts are molded in color.
Once built, it's fully articulated and comes with all weapons (Beam Rifle, Beam Sabers, Hyper Bazooka, Beam Javelin, Gundam Hammer, Super Napalm and shield), accessories and a convertible Core Fighter!
A notable feature of this model is that its Core Fighter is compatible with those of the MG RX-75 Guntank 1/100 and of the MG G-Fighter 1/100 (both sold separately).
This means that
- the upper body of the MG Gundam 2.0 can dock to the MG Guntank tracks to form the Gundam Tank!
- the MG Gundam 2.0 can be combined in various configurations with the MG G-Fighter to obtain G-Bull, G-Bull Easy, G-Sky, G-Sky Easy, G-Armor and Gundam High-Mobility Type (Gundam Sky)!
This gunpla is also compatible with Action Base 1 and Action Base 4 display stands, both sold separately.
The same model also exists in the G-3 variant, featuring a mainly gray and purple coloring.
This is the second Master Grade edition of the RX-78-2 Gundam, obviously taken from the Mobile Suit Gundam TV show.
It faithfully replicates look, features and all weapons of the "White Devil" (as this mobile suit was called by Zeon army in the anime series).
It comes with:
- articulated inner frame;
- FF-X7 Core Fighter that can turn into the torso of the Gundam and can be combined with the upper and lower part of its body;
- 2x Beam Sabers;
- Beam Javelin;
- Gundam Hammer;
- BAUVA*XBR-M-79-07G Beam Rifle;
- Super Napalm rocket launcher, which can be attached to the Beam Rifle;
- BLASH*XHB-L-03/N-STD Hyper Bazooka;
- RX*M-Sh-008/S-01025 Shield;
- 3x non-painted 1/100 scale figurines of Amuro Ray (2 standing, with civilian clothes and pilot suit, and 1 sitting, for the cockpit);
- clear display base for the Core Fighter;
- stickers;
- dry decals.
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to easily and accurately detach the pieces from their plastic runners.
Parts are already molded in color, but if you'd like to paint them, pay particular attention to the ABS components, as they are the most susceptible to possible damages caused by too aggressive paints.
Once assembled, it stands approximately 18 cm tall.
