Model kit inspired by the Black Luster Soldier—famous card and monster from the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe (aka "Chaos Soldier" in the original japanese version)!
This is a snap-fit kit from the Figure-Rise Standard Amplified product line, thus requiring simple assembly: components are separated into different colored plastic sprues and snap together easily without need for glue. Once built, it's highly detailed and can be positioned as desired, same as all models in the Amplified series.
It features excellent color separation and uses very few stickers: all the gold inlays are created through the ingenious, precise interlocking of separate parts, while the red "gems" and the "tufts" behind the head are made from translucent red plastic.
Other features:
- sword with chrome-plated blade;
- shield, which can also be attached to the Black Luster Soldier's back;
- 2x interchangeable right hands, allowing the sword to be held at different wrist angles;
- the dark sections of the armor feature a special glossy, iridescent finish (the color shifts depending on the angle of the surface relative to the light).
A must have for any Yu-Gi-Oh! fan!
It's recommended to use a hobby nipper to properly detach the components from the runners.
All parts snap together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" models, even for beginners.
Pieces are molded in separate colors, so it looks great even after a simple straight build.
However, you can paint it employing proper colors and your favorite techniques (Gundam Markers, brush, airbrush and/or spray cans).
