Gundam Astray Turn Red master grade version, from the side story Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray R.
This is a wondrous gunpla model kit: it requires assembly, but there's no need for glue and the parts are already colored.
It comes with two huge Tactical Arm "broadswords", a beam rifle, a shield, two knives, a figurine, an Action Base 2 (to be used as a stand for one of the Tactical Arms) and a water slide decal sheet!
This is a great 1/100 scale Premium Bandai (P-Bandai) limited edition gunpla.
As you can see from the images, it's inspired by the Gundam Astray Red Frame, with the addition of unique features.
The red and white colors in this case are reversed, and the mobile suit most representative weapons are 2 Tactical Arms broadswords.
This kit also features
- a special backpack;
- a Type 71 Beam Rifle;
- a shield;
- 2x Armor-Schneider knives;
- a dedicated Action Base 2, to hold a Tactical Arm;
- the non-painted figurine of Valerio Valeri;
- a water slide decal sheet.
Use of a pair of hobby nippers is recommended to detach the components from the runners.
All parts are molded in color. If you prefer to paint the model to give it an even more realistic look or to customize it, it's advisable to use acrylic paints or Gundam Markers, avoiding direct contact of aggressive paints with the parts (especially ABS parts).
If you'd like to use other paint types, such as enamels or lacquers, you should first protect the components with a suitable primer or top coat.
