Striking 1/100 scale gunpla of the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos 6th Form, featured in Mobile Suit Gundam - Iron-Blooded Orphans TV show (season 1).
This is a special limited edition snap-fit model kit from the premium Hi-Resolution Model (HiRM) line.
It requires assembly, but parts snap together (no glue required) and are already beautifully colored, some with a glossy finish and some others with a metallic finish.
Once built, it's very detailed and freely poseable!
Other features:
- pre-assembled inner frame with metal parts, fully articulated, with particularly stable joints, enriched with the "hydraulic cylinders" typical of the various versions of Barbatos and other mobile suits from the same anime series;
- Large Special Mace, aka Wrench Mace, with opening front "claw" featuring a chainsaw;
- sword (tachi);
- folding smoothbore gun;
- mace, sword and smoothbore gun can be attached to the backpack;
- forearm cannons;
- several different pairs of interchangeable hands;
- a sticker;
- by replacing or removing some parts you can get the configuration of the Gundam Barbatos 5th Form Ground Type and that of the Gundam Barbatos 6th Form Final Battle.
The optional Action Base 1 stand, which you can see in the pictures, is sold separately.
It's recommended to use a side cutter to properly detach the components from the runners.
Parts snap together without need for glue, making the building process easier and faster than that of more "conventional" plastic models, even for beginners.
All pieces are printed in color and some are also embellished with glossy finishes and chrome plating, so it's beautiful assembled as is, without further painting. But it can also be painted and/or customized using suitable paints and your favorite coloring techniques: Gundam Markers, brushes, spray cans or airbrush.
