Soul Of Chogokin GX-59R Daltanious by Bandai.
The mighty Daltanious is obtained by combining together Atlas (a robot), Gumper (a space fighter) and Beralios (a mechanical lion), as in the homonymous TV show!
All 3 mechas are included, as well as a lot of weapons, accessories and interchangeable parts!
This edition was released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the anime first airing, and is even richer than the GX-59 (without "R") from a few years ago, sporting some vintage-style details!
It features an optional head for Beralios, with a different sculpt: there are both heads and you can choose which to employ!
Furthermore, the coloring has been revised! There are
- different colors (for Antares head and yellow parts of the Gumper, the latter being lighter),
- chrome plated limbs and tail for Beralios,
- beautiful nuances on the lion manes (instead of the previous plain brown)!
This is a highly detailed and transformable premium action figure. It's not a model kit, so it does NOT require assembly!
The complete Daltanious stands approx. 27cm tall, is made of die-cast and plastic and is articulated.
Within the box you'll find the Atlas robot, the Gumper fighter and Beralios, the mechanical lion.
Combining them together, you'll get the gorgeous Daltanious, just as in Future Robot Daltanious anime series.
Features:
- 2x lion heads to choose from, one similar to that of the GX-59, and a second one which is more imposing and sharp-cornered (both with mobile jaw and glossy and nuanced mane).
- Delfighter spacecraft, with articulated wings, which can enter Atlas head;
- 8x blade parts to recreate Atlas Punch Slicers;
- Hand Slicer blades, that can be joined with a special included part to form the Boomerang Cutter;
- Beralios Neutron Missile launcher;
- a pair of Gumper Cutter blades;
- 2x "armlets" to recreate Daltanious Gyro Spinner;
- Tran Saber;
- Tran Shield;
- Kaenken flaming sword;
- Lysander crossbow;
- a nice effect part, with dedicated stand, to emulate the Sigma Beam;
- an interchangeable, larger head to use when Antares transforms into Daltanious, for better proportions;
- a pair of larger shoulder parts to use when Antares transforms into Daltanious, for better proportions;
- 3x different pairs of interchangeable hands for Daltanious;
- a stand for storing and displaying unused weapons and parts.
This Daltanious is richly detailed, excellent poseable and is as faithful as possible to that of the cartoon series.
Atlas can also cling to the special supports under the Gumper!
The Gumper conceals some surprises: Antares can cling to the special handles that are located underneath it.
It's also equipped with fully articulated sub-arms which feature gripping claws!
